There is yet some more to be learned about Respect from our exploration of
the word "consideration". Let’s take a look at another definition of this
word.
Consideration:
- deliberation
deliberation:
- slow and cautious in determining or deciding
- unhurried
To walk in Respect is to allow ourselves the needed time to make a Proper
decision, rather than acting on impulse. This is not to be confused with
procrastination or deliberately delaying / using it as an excuse to
interfere.
unhurried:
- leisurely
leisurely
- free from exertion or pressure
Giving ourselves the time to make a Proper decision provides a buffer against
urgent demands and oppressive influences. We don’t respond based on the "latest
fire" but rather based on what is Right Action and Right Manifestation of
Father’s Good Will.
leisure
- freedom from the demands of work or duty
duty:
- that which one is morally or legally bound to do
- that which is owed or due
To walk in Respect includes also the capacity to free ourselves from the
constraints of worldly demands, by recognizing that we have no allegiance to
the unrighteous - unholy and any of their machinations to entrap us. Whether it
be work related, duty related, family related, religious related, civic
related, charity related, and so on, it matters not. We have no allegiance to
them. As Father has Said:
It matters not what others may say or think.
It matters always only That Which Is
Divinely Appointed each day.
We are HUMANS and therefore HUMANE.
Humane:
- BENEVOLENT: marked by good will
It is a mistake to think that we must leave our humanity behind the moment we
step out of bed so as to become whatever is expected of us by family, friends,
religion, work, and duty. We did not come to Earth to be "great
pretenders".
Respect facilitates expression of our HUMANE Nature.
