The word "Proper" as it pertains to "Respect" has one more definition that I
would like to point out and explore.
Proper:
- honest
Respect and Honesty go hand in hand. Someone who is not honest does not
understand the foundation of Respect and therefore misses the point of what it
is to be Respectful. This may be a though one to understand for many People,
since so many of us have been raised to believe not only that we can get away
with being dishonest, but also that it is a necessary acumen of everyday
life… ever heard of "white lies"?
honest:
- not given to lying, cheating, stealing
- acting honorably (keen sense of what is right) and justly (upright)
- trustworthy
- not characterized by falsehood or intent to mislead
- truthful
When Father Says "Divine Answers Respect all living things", He
Conveys among other things (as I understand it now) that the Divine does not
lie, cheat, steal, nor mislead. Instead, the Divine has a keen sense of what is
Right and Just and acts accordingly. He also Conveys that the Divine can be
Trusted for it is based on (Universal) Truth.
When one makes the choice to reawaken to his / her Divine Nature, of a
necessity one must come to terms with recognizing the value of Honesty and the
fact that anything unlike it is NOT of Divine Origin and therefore does NOT
belong in one’s Life.
The willingness to see and speak Truth and therefore be Trust-Worthy, the
willingness to do what is Right and Just and therefore not lie, mislead, cheat,
or steal, are a natural expression of our Humanity.
To behave in any other way than this is to have lost sight of our Humanity.
