Looking at Life through the "eyes of deception" results in backward thinking. To go about Life with the notion that to achieve spiritual transcendence one must first meet other basic hierarchical needs, is to go about life in the wrong way. It is a life full of obstacles, frustrations, and disappointments.
We think that overcoming such challenges is a sign of bravery and achievement, but is it really so?
In eastern tradition there is common misconception that energy is to be moved up the spine. Everyone who has attempted to do this has realized that there are many apparent "obstacles" that prohibit such upward flow of energy. It takes People years upon years of faithful meditation and practice to "overcome" such "obstacles". People who succeed are seen as great spiritual leaders who have triumphed over the limitations of physical expression... but are they and have they really?
Father has explained to us that energy is not meant to flow up the spine, but rather down the spine. The so called "obstacles" that People have been overcoming for hundreds, if not thousands of years, are the safety measures that are in place to ensure the energy flows in the right direction, similar to how the valves in the heart and veins ensure blood flows in the right direction with every heartbeat.
Can you see the fallacy of real backward thinking?
