As illustrated in yesterday's entry, real backward thinking causes one to do things against the natural flow of Creation. This is by unrighteous - unholy design. To try to succeed within the framework of deception so well characterized by Maslow is to seek failure. There is no enlightenment at the end of such road... the problem is that we have been fooled into thinking there is.
Linda was shown by Father that:
We have been going at Life the wrong way. We are neither the mental process nor the physical process. Instead we are spiritual energetic beings who have a mental and physical process in our care. By taking care of ourselves as spiritual energetic beings, we maintain Proper Function of the mental and physical processes.
Many People who have recognized the Truth of their spiritual nature, still go about life within the framework of deception. They still think they have to work for money, till or kill for food, have a special someone for love, have family / friends / community for a sense of belonging, accomplish things for love, approval, and respect, and improve themselves for enlightenment. This idea of self improvement to overcome our purported "weak / defective / destructive / sinful" nature is very pervasive.
Linda was also shown by Father that:
When we go about Life within this framework of deception we are kept separated from what we should be doing and how we should approach doing what needs to be done. We become too absorbed in the deception to find our Way in Truth.
This relates directly to Maslow's hierarchy of needs. The unrighteous - unholy keep People absorbed as low in the hierarchy as they can while making an unspoken claim that it is only those at the top of the financial chain that are worthy of love, respect, self actualization, and enlightenment: those who have everything get more... even enlightenment. But is this really so?
This unspoken promise of enlightenment at the top of the chain is enough for many People to sell their Souls. They think that the end justifies the means and that the enlightenment they will receive at the top will "erase / negate" what they did to get there. Well, Father Says it does not work that way. To succeed in the framework of deception is to fail. This is why People who reach the top of the chain and "have it all" say that there is nothing there. There is nothing there because it is trap designed by the unrighteous - unholy.
Their trap encompasses both angles, the material and the spiritual. Either way, People sell their Souls for a promise of enlightenment at the top of the chain.
These People then forget along the way that enlightenment is what they sought in the first place and do nothing to prepare for it.
Those who retain a slight remembrance prepare in all the wrong ways. In the end, at the top of the chain, all they have is their achievements, trophies, medals, diplomas, financial status, and an awareness that what they did to get there did matter and weighs heavily on their Souls and Hearts.
It is neither the Father nor Source who awaits People at the top of the chain but rather a system designed to drain away their financial status as their physical body's independent functioning capacity is destroyed unto death. The sooner the better.
How do they to that? Well, they don't know... give them money and they will research it and find out.
