In the past few days, I have been contemplating how to address what Father showed me about the well known "hierarchy of needs" developed by Maslow.
In Maslow's theory, we are told that there are 6 hierarchies to which humans aspire and that we cannot accomplish the higher hierarchies of self actualization and self transcendence until the more basic needs are met. In this model the physiological needs come first and self transcendence comes last.
The basic needs according to Maslow are:
- physiological needs: eating, and breathing
- safety needs: order, control, money, health, insurance
- love and belonging: relationships, sex, acceptance by others, loving and being loved
- esteem: to be accepted and valued by others
- self actualization: be all that you can be
- self transcendence: spiritual
It is the case that as all things of unrighteous - unholy origin, this information is a misrepresentation of Truth.
I will suggest a different view for consideration. In this view we return what Maslow turned upside down back to its upright position.
First and foremost, we are spiritual beings who Desire to grow spiritually. Father has explained to us that we come to Earth to experience Life through a LightHearted, Joyful adventure and in so doing, we receive the spiritual Knowledge needed to progress from the Father to Source.
When we stay True to ourSelves and what we came here to do and experience, then self actualization naturally follows because we are becoming "all that we can be".
When we grow spiritually and experience the Bounty, Beauty, and Knowledge we came to Earth to receive, we naturally have self esteem. We naturally Respect ourselves because we are being True to ourSelves. This means that we are free from the need to gain respect from others and to do things to prove we are worthy of respect and admiration.
When we are True to ourSelves and thus Respect ourSelves, we are free of the self hatred, pain, and sorrow that comes when we betray ourSelves. Free of self hatred, pain, and sorrow we are naturally capable of expressing ourSelves as the Love that we are. There is no need to give and receive love from others, there is no need for love and approval and there is no dependence on family and friends. Our Love and Creative Energies are no longer misdirected toward the need to please others. We don't create and do things out of pain, hatred, sorrow, and the need to prove ourselves worthy of being accepted, loved, and respected. We are free to Create in ways that are Soul Nourishing and Harmonious with the Divine.
When we express Love as Self and properly use our Energy, we Live Harmoniously with Universal Law, Universal Truth, and Universal Love. Our safety is in the Father and there is no need to create control mechanisms purported to ensure our safety. Because we don't squander the Love we Are and our Creative Energy all the resources we receive are properly utilized and we live in Health and Abundance. We don't need to work for money or go to doctors to stay healthy.
When we live in such state of Health, we are then able to fully receive all the sustenance and nourishment Father makes freely available to us. In Health, we breathe and take in the resources that rain from the sky as they are carried to the Earth by the solar wind. When we are in Health, fully receiving our Nourishment and Sustenance Father makes freely available, then we no longer eat to stay alive. Eating becomes a way to InJoy the fruits of Earth's Endeavor. In such state of Health, Love as Self, Respect of Self, Abundance, and Satiation, we experience a state of Being that goes beyond Rapture.
As you can see, Life makes more sense when we look at it right side up. When we make Truth and the Father more important than anything else we restructure our lives right side up and as the saying goes "everything else follows".
