What would we really want to ask for?
Having understood this, we then asked for freedom. We wanted to be free to choose the Father and do that which was before us to do. For the longest time we asked for freedom thinking that this would allow us to choose and receive the Kingdom. Then the day came in which we finally understood that freedom is not the goal either. The need for freedom is as distorted as the need for Healing. There is no need to be free or Healed to make a choice for the Father and do that which is before us to do.
Instead, as Father explained, receiving His Kingdom is what brings Freedom and Healing. It also brings Abundance and Joy. You may remember the saying “Seek first His Kingdom and His Righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well”. Well, as it turns out, this sentence in the Bible is accurate.
From the posting “Seeking Father’s Kingdom" :
the Kingdom is our Desire for Heaven made manifest
and
Heaven is Right & Proper Function of our Divine Expression in a Kingly, Rightforward manner
So, what do you think we really should be asking for? Who do you think should be the recipient of that request?
You know what this means? That perhaps the idea that we must get involved in politics, policies, fundraisers, walks against this and that, religion, crusades, greening up the world, and so on to bring about a change in the world is… you are right, nothing more than a diversion... for as long as you are kept busy with these things, you will never be asking for the right thing and all your resources and attention will be misdirected away from the Kingdom.
