Entries in this blog follow a pattern of evolving refinement of my capacity to Live, Experience, and Understand Universal Truth, Universal Law, and Universal Love as Self. You may find that reading any single entry is not unlike reading a random page from a book you have never read. It may or may not make sense. To pick the topic from the beginning, simply click on the link found under each entry's title, or... start with the very first entry and take it from there, or... visit the on-line store to download free e-book compilations of all entries.

The contents of this blog are under Father's Creative Notice. That is to say I leave it to Divine Law to balance any transgressions. To better understand this, visit the Creative Notice, Translation Notice, and In our Words pages. These three pages, in and of themselves, may contain answers you have been looking for...

Hope you In-Joy finding and receiving the many gems made available through this blog, but if the information presented here doesn't float your boat simply continue looking for greener pastures elsewhere. Your Peace and Spiritual Progression do matter.

What you ask for is what you get

I thought it would be appropriate to give another example of how we can be tricked by the unrighteous - unholy into asking for something we really do not want. One example I shared recently was related to the belief that a democracy or a republic is a desirable form of government. Millions of people around the world clamor for the freedom that democracy and republic is supposed to represent yet as we have found out (see “More “linguistic” fun”), these systems are not designed to bring freedom to the people. At least not freedom as what think we understand freedom is.

In these kinds of governments, people every so often come together to elect the politicians that will do the politics of the country for the next term. Promises are made, votes are cast, and yet at the end, it never fails that people get disillusioned when they awaken to the reality that the elected politicians are no better than the ones taken out of office. These people then think there is something wrong with the system and if the system could be restored to the original intent of the “founding fathers” then all would be ok once again. But would that really be so? Would politicians really “behave” if the “system” was restored to its original “intent”?

Why don’t we explore what a politician is? I will use the same “The New Century Dictionary” I have been using in the past.

Politician:
  • one versed in or concerned with the science of politics or the subject of political government
  • also, one skilled in political government or administration
  • statesman
  • more commonly, now, one who holds a political office or is occupied with political affairs
  • often, one who is active in party politics, or who makes a trade of politics for party ends or personal gain

Can you see the trickery? A politician is one who engages in politics for party ends or personal gain. That this is Truly the case, is further corroborated by looking at the “synonym” section of this dictionary.

Politician, Syn.: statesman, politicaster
  • Politician suggests the schemes and devices of one who engages in (especially small) politics for party ends or his own advantage; statesman, the eminent ability, foresight, and unselfish devotion to the interests of his country of one dealing with (especially important or great) affairs of state.

How the words politician and statesman can be synonymous is beyond my comprehension. A politician does what he does to further his party ends or for his own personal gain. A statesman is someone who has an "unselfish devotion" to the interests of his country. To me these words are antonyms.

As you can see, People all around the world are getting just what they are asking for. When they ask for a democracy they get a de-mock-cracy, when they ask for a republic they get a re-pub-lick. Then, they elect politicians into office…

Government works just as it has been designed to work and it does so very well. It is not the politicians who are disconnected from “reality” or the “needs” of the “people”. Politicians are not concerned with people’s needs. It is the People who are blind to the reality of what they are asking for.

Perhaps People need to rethink what it is they want and appropriately ask for it.

You can’t ask for a system implemented by the unrighteous - unholy to oppress, control, and pilfer the People and then expect that very system to work for the benefit of the People.
