Once again, remember that the focus of this exploration is to unveil how the unrighteous - unholy or tyranny engage the People or how the People engage them. Thus, the focus is on the unrighteous - unholy aspects of the words so that we can recognize things for what they are and easily let them go when the time is Proper. There is indeed a Right and Proper way of conducting business. However, even though the unrighteous - unholy do conduct business in a proper way between themselves (as Father has explained to us), they have imposed upon the People a system that is designed to pilfer the People while causing the People to incur in penalties for their actions.
Secure:
- Not liable to fail, yield, become displaced
- Also, to protect
- Fix firmly in place
- To seize and confine, as a prisoner
- To make (a creditor) sure of payment, as mortgage, bond, or the like
- To be dependent on
Employment:
- Work; occupation; business
Employ:
- To make use of
- Keep busy or at work
- Also infold; include; imply
In a nutshell, unrighteous - unholy business / employment is designed to keep people busy or working so they become dependent and confined by this structure, while serving as the security of payment for the bonds issued through the government (refer to SP 17a).
It has been a while, but if you remember, during the exploration of tyranny, it was unveiled that one of the things tyranny is designed to do, is to keep people busy and employed. It is thus logical that to engage in such activity is to engage in tyranny.
Let’s take a closer look at what is involved in the employment of the People.

Entangle:

- Ensnare
- Involve in anything from which extrication is difficult
- To involve in difficulties; embarrass; perplex
Embarrass:
- To put obstacles or difficulties in the way of
- Impede, hamper
- To beset with financial difficulties
- Burden with debt
- To perplex mentally; confuse; disconcert
- To render difficult or intricate
Perplex:
- To bring into a tangled or confusingly involved condition
So here we have some of the “hidden” yet, readily discernable and recognizable, outcomes of taking unrighteous - unholy employment or self-employment: complications, obstacles and difficulties, financial difficulties, burdening with debt, and mental confusion.
This destructive, enslaving, taxing pattern of life is not just how “life is” because we the People are too greedy or debased to do it differently as the unrighteous-unholy implicate in their excuses. This pattern of life is the result of a carefully crafted system that is designed by the unrighteous – unholy and has been forced down everyone’s throat under the barrel of a gun and the false promises of deception / a better life. We the People have been fighting and resisting this system since it was first implemented upon Earth several thousand years ago (with some of the latest battles fought on the north American continent by Native Americans). But of course, fighting and resisting does not work. So here we are, in the midst of systems of oppression that are literally choking the life out of the People (a most recent example being the Gulf disaster). It does not matter whether there is 100 percent employment or unemployment. It does not matter whether you call it capitalism, socialism, communism, or any other ism. The obstacles, difficulties, intricacies of life, burdens, debt will always be there as long as the unrighteous - unholy remain and we continue to engage in their ways.
All of this is designed to get People diverted / fixated away from their walk with the Father, into using their resources, energy, and creativity to solve the difficulties and complications that prevent the unrighteous - unholy from achieving their dreams of insanity. The insidiousness of this system is that those who seek employment from the unrighteous - unholy become dependent upon them for survival and thus have a vested interest in seeing the unrighteous - unholy succeed and remain in place. In this, a system is created that becomes firmly fixed (but not perpetual) upon society and which is difficult (but not impossible) to displace.
The other side of this coin is when a business owner employs a tyrant in his company or secures work from a tyrant. In so doing, the door is opened to complications, difficulties, embarrassment, and ensnarement. Many bosses are well known for their tyrannical behavior, and most people can identify a co-worker or two, who are constantly complicating things, gossiping, blaming, delaying, disturbing the work, and stabbing others behind their back. There are also many entities that offer contract work who are known for their tyrannical and ensnaring nature.
So here you have it. Perhaps it is not a coincidence that the most destructive nations on this Earth are the most industrialized. Their false promises of progress, happiness, and wealth are indeed tantalizing causing other nations to want to emulate their behavior, yet it is the case that the People who live in industrialized nations are indeed enslaved, indebted, and sick.
Does this mean then everyone should just quit their jobs? No. The disruption that this would cause is greater than the good that would come out of it. Instead, we turn things around. We ask: “Father what good can come out of my current employment? How can the resources I receive from You, through this company (!), be Properly used to support my journey with You?”
As you shift your focus and attention back to the Father, you begin to change how you interact with co-workers and clients and you begin to end your participation in the game of the unrighteous – unholy. You begin to ask, “How can I do this differently?”, “How can I conduct business in the Father Way?”, “How do I stop being submissive to the tyranny of others at work without being disrespectful, without fighting back, without engaging in their game, yet standing strong in my choice to not play?”
This is done one step at a time and in the Guidance of the Father, Who will see you through your restoration to your Divine Nature.
