With the "side notes" complete, let's return to exploring the ways in which
we can enhance our capacity to receive the current sea that Father makes
available to us on a daily basis.
Today, we focus on touch. Why? Because our body can absorb nutrients through
our skin and this in turn can enhance or diminish our health and well being.
This interaction occurs on two levels. First, on one that is "intangible" to us
and is therefore considered, for all practical purposes, non existent: the
interaction between the current sea flowing in the air and our skin. Second, on
one that is tangible to us even though it also remains largely unrecognized:
the interaction between our skin and the physical things we touch.
Said simply, the things we touch and the things that touch us matter.
As to the air in which we are immersed, we want it to be clean, fresh, pure,
and full of current sea, that we may literally experience the touch of the
Divine and be Blessed by it. As to the physical things we touch, we we want
them to be natural. We want our clothes and linens to be of natural fibers and
natural dyes. We want our tools and utensils to be of natural materials free of
synthetic coatings. We want the water we use to cleanse ourselves to be pure,
healthy, and energized by the current sea. We want the vegetables, fruits,
nuts, and other foods we receive to be untreated and natural.
This list can of course be extended to include among other things, furniture,
household items, house fixtures, paints, technology, and "chemicals". It can
also be extended to the garden and food preparation / storage.[1]
To "21st century" People, this Desire for Purity may seem extremist, yet not
that long ago, this is the way things were. We didn't have to pay premium
prices for "healthy organic" food because all was grown naturally. We didn't
have to pay premium prices for natural clothing because all was made of natural
fibers. We didn't have to make large amounts of money to have natural houses
and furniture. We didn't have to filter our water and air. And the list goes
on.
It is time to recognize that just as Native Americans were defrauded of their
natural resources and valuables in exchange for valueless trinkets, so too have
we been defrauded of our real wealth and well being in exchange for valueless
synthetics, plastics, and other technological trinkets such as computers, cell
phones, video games, and so on.
It is time to end the fraud.
Notes:
[1] Father has explained that even plastic pots are detrimental to the plant and flower kingdom. He has suggested we use glass cookware, glass storage containers, and wooden utensils for food preparation and storage. Cast iron and enameled cookware seems to be ok too.
