Father has been addressing the deception of “putting others first” in many ways. Linda and I have shared this in many ways too, in our blogs. Today, I will quote from the 2009 Homily given by Father and which is posted on our BlueStarWay website. Comments in brackets are my addition to the quotes.
You could look not to another for your sorrow endeavor to end.
Seek instead All Righteous and Holy Opportunity of your head.
[Father is explaining that the way to end your sorrow is not by finding another or that “right one”. Instead, the sorrow is ended when you seek All Righteous and Holy Opportunity of your head, which is your restoration to your Divine Expression.]
You end not your sorrow when your conscious desire corresponds not, with your Heartfelt Desire.
[Father Speaks of aligning yourself with what you came here to do which is different than what the world taught you to want.]
Seek instead All Righteous and Holy Opportunity of your head
through the / your utmost Desire to
stay / please not another / mother of your head.
Seek instead All Righteous and Holy Opportunity
while your Heartfelt Desire gone not astray, comes into Play.
One of the most significant opposing energies, which is purported to be Right and Proper attitude of a spiritual purpose, is to place the value or welfare of another before one's Self. This deception misaligns our Heartfelt Desire, distorts our Desire, and fosters sorrow because we have then strayed from our spiritual "Design".
We are focused this day on the Way to return / be restored to Universal Truth of our Self and the Divine Plan. This means we give ourselves permission to stop the deception of putting others first, and recognize that putting / knowing one Self first is our only Hope of Spiritual full-fillment.
This concept requires Respecting all others and Honoring those who Honor the Father. This, of a necessity, says that putting one's Self first is a Righteous and Holy Perspective.
If we put our [false] desire / deception first while saying "the Divine Plan be done in our life", we create a split mind which cannot function in a Righteous and Holy Way. We have to either choose for All Righteous and Holy Opportunity to be active and present in our day or for our [false] desire to come first. We must end the false belief that free will allows the false desire we have structured through the deception in this world, to simultaneously exist in the same space that All Righteous and Holy Opportunity would occupy.
[Father has explained that the misalignment that is caused by putting others first, causes our Divinely given Energy to be misdirected to them. To do this is to play in an unrighteous – unholy way. (See “Making the choice for Father - SP 28a”)]
When we engage in unrighteous-unholy activity we are "feeding" the beings of unrighteous-unholy expression. This creates deprivation, ill health, and degradation of our physical expression. Father calls this squandering. It is improper use / waste of the energy we receive, either directly from the Sun (upon the solar wind), or through the integration of His Energy in the plant material we eat. When we stop the "drain" of Divine Resources and replenish / nourish our physical body, our Soul, our potential to Know our Self is dramatically improved and progress apparent.
The mesmerizing aspect of unrighteous-unholy activity would convince a person that it is necessary to understand how the unrighteous-unholy operate. This is a deception. Knowing one Self needs to fill all space of a person's expression.
It is only through complete expression of our Divine Nature in Universal Truth that we succeed in our Spiritual Journey.
