Accurately indeed you would say that is not so of your Desire,
it is however so were you to engage not tyranny of another.
In the first part of the Spiritual Swimming series, I explored the meaning of “tyranny”. Now is the time to begin exploration of what it means to “engage” in tyranny.
As with all previous explorations in this matter, prepare to read many things that may make you uncomfortable yet know that the answers and solutions to do it differently are also being made available. In a way this could be likened to treating someone who has received an injury. The first step is to remove the clothing that “hides” the wound. This in itself may be a quite unpleasant thing. You don’t know what you may find, and how severe the damage is. The process may itself be painful, but if the wound is to be healed, it must be done. Then comes the cleansing of the wound. Another unpleasant and perhaps painful task. And finally comes the relief from the healing balm that is applied to it. Even then, it will take some time to heal and care must be taken, during this time, to ensure the body is healing properly.
So it is with this series of Spiritual Swimming. So far we have been removing the “cover” that hides the deception and we have begun here and there to cleanse the damage with Truth. Yes, it stings and yes it would be easier to ignore it, but just as a wound shouldn’t be ignored and allowed to fester, so shouldn’t deception.
Let’s then continue and be done with this so we can end our participation in deception and move on into a Mystical and Magical Life in the Father Way.
What is to engage?
To understand how not to engage in the tyranny of another, we need to know what types of behavior and conduct the word “engage” encompasses. For this process, I will continue to use the "New Century Dictionary of the English Language" printed by the D. Appleton-Century Company in 1938 and the "World Book Encyclopedia" printed by the Quarrie Corporation in 1938. Remember that both of these are used for educational purposes only.
Engage: [ en + pledge]

- To make liable; specifically to betroth
- To secure for aid, employment
- Attract or please
- Urge, persuade, or induce

- Entangle or involve
- Enter into conflict with
- To attach or secure
- Interlock with
- Enter into agreement
- Take employment
- To occupy one’s self, become involved
Once again, many definitions seem to be self evident, but remember that not everything is what it seems. I will expound on these starting on my next posting.
