It would not surprise me if, as you have been reading Linda's and my blogs about Father's Way, you have been aware of a certain amount of resistance and perhaps even dislike of the idea of a Father Which Is in Heaven.
The knowledge of the Father Which Is in Heaven or Father for short, appears for many to be backward thinking. The logic for this dislike could be summarized as follows: "We have progressed so far from the male theocracy and inferiority / suppression of women by men, and now you say that God is this male figure that sits up there in heaven? What about a woman's spirituality?" This perception which requires the obliteration of a "male figure" as God is especially held by many "new ager's" who believe God is actually feminine rather than masculine or perhaps both.
Father has explained to us there is a lot of deception that has been introduced to generate confusion and hate or dislike of His Presence and Participation in our Lives. These deceptions are widely spread and can be loosely encompassed in the following list.
- Misunderstanding regarding who / what God is
- Misunderstanding regarding who Father is
- Your personal relationship with your biological father and / or other male figures
- Your personal beliefs regarding the Pope who calls himself the Holy Father
- All sorts of religious or new age believes that cloud your Vision
Having been raised Catholic, the idea of a Father Which Is in Heaven was certainly nothing new. However, as Father made it very clear from the beginning, I was carrying a lot of baggage that was interfering with my capacity to Commune with Him and be of one a-chord with Him. Without perceiving Father in the Proper Light, my expectations of Him were certainly inaccurate.
I will be sharing on future blogs how Father has helped me recognize this garbage and what He has suggested I do to begin receiving His Blessing in His Way and to begin my Walk with Him.

There is a lot of emotional stuff that will surface in this exploration so we will progress one step at a time.
