Farmer heard the huge racket and went outside in a hurry. "What's going on ? Are the chickens ok ?" he worried.
He looked and looked around but the chickens were nowhere to be found. They were hugging the ground and they were really, really, really quiet. "Shhhhh"
Finally, Mister calmed down and stopped his barking. He was sure the chickens got the message to stay away from him this day.
Farmer stood in silence, still wondering what happened. He looked and looked around, but nothing moved about.
Then, after a long while, he noticed a stirring upon the grass and saw his chickens come out. One by one they all came out and hurried back to their coop.
That's when farmer finally knew what was wrong ! Mister had become afraid of the chickens and he was barking at them for his very own safety.
