As Linda has pointed out in her blog, summer solstice is early this year. Summer solstice is characterized by the days in which there is equal length of daylight before the daylight hours begin to decrease again. It is when the Sun is furthest North to our perception on Earth.
In the past, this has been said to be the tropic of cancer which is South of these United States, slightly above Cuba. This has meant in the past that the Sun would always rise from the southeast in these United States and set southwest. However things have changed.
As it has been for many weeks now, the Sun is rising northeast of Indiana and setting northwest. How do I know this? By simply looking at the Sunrise and Sunset during the days there is no scum to block this Truth. After Sunrise, the Sun will go South of Indiana only to return to the North during sunset. At the height of the day, there is only but the smallest shade cast by objects, pointing in a northerly direction.
It used to be the case that the northern garden in this house, which runs as an east to west narrow alley, could get morning Sunshine shortly after Sunrise during the summer months and always from a southerly angle. In the past, I would anticipate the Sun’s northerly travel eagerly awaiting those day the garden could get some Sun. This year, that is no longer the case, the Sunrise is so far up North, that several hours have to pass before the Sun is high enough in the sky to shine upon this garden. It is quite a change, but my plants love it since it actually gives them more hours of Sunshine.
As said in the Mystical and Magical series, in Father’s Way, one would have the Wisdom to see and recognize the signs of change. I consider this to certainly be a sign. Father has explained to us that Mother Earth is taking action to correct her orbit with the Sun and this certainly confirms that she is progressing in this matter. It is for us to recognize that things are changing and to take Proper action.
These pause days are a time for finishing up what remains undone from this ending Rhythm and preparing for what needs to be done this coming Rhythm, which is from the summer solstice to the fall equinox. During these pause days, contemplation and Prayer to the Father for Guidance and Direction is a Wise Choice.
