The mother could then continue to support her nutritional needs through specialized food items that are rich and nourishing to both herself and child.
This would certainly not be be a time for fat free, reduced calorie, poison loaded, and starving dieting. Much less a time to worry about "one’s figure".
Instead, this would be a time to ensure and support the development of nutrient dense breast milk. Not only through nutrition but through a conscious choice to engage only in activities that continue to support all that is Joyful, Gentle, and Loving. It is these Joyful feelings and experiences that help turn a mother’s breast milk into Life giving, Life enhancing sweet nectar for her child.
