I recently read an article titled "Pure Chemistry - How to make things that won't kill us." This article was written by Laura Wright Treadway and published on a magazine called OnEarth (Volume 33, number 2, summer 2011). It was interesting to read about the various attempts by individuals and universities to develop a frame of reference for a chemistry that would be "benign" to humans rather than destructive.
The main idea around this concept seems to be that things will change if only chemists, toxicologists, economists, and policy makers would come together and speak to each other so as to make "good decisions".
It sounds good, but I must ask:
"How can any good come out of this when the very foundation upon which each of these disciplines is established is flawed?"
Western civilization is based on the idea that that which All That Is / Creator has made is insufficient and flawed, and therefore must be enhanced, overcome, or substituted by the fruits of intellectual pursuits that totally and completely disregard / deny the True Nature of Creation and Humanity, not to mention Father's Good Will and Intent for us the People and the Earth.
Chemists create "better chemicals" from the raw materials that are pilfered from Mother Earth and do so with complete disregard to Nature. Toxicologists experiment on animals and humans in complete violation of Life. Economists and businesses operate on a mercantile system that is designed to destroy and enslave Life in the name of profit. Policy makers operate on a system of government that is designed to make such atrocities and transgressions against Life / Universal Law "legal".
Some would say that this is a good thing. That it is desirable to have a system in place that allows transgressing against Life and Universal Law. They would claim that this system is what gives us free will and freedom of action... you know, the eating of the tree of good and evil thing... but could it be that... just as electricity doesn't work as convention tells us, so doesn't freedom and free will?
Perhaps it is in the transgression of Life and Universal Law that we loose our free will and freedom. Perhaps this loss is then manifested in the physical in the form of ill health... for after all... doesn't sickness limit that which we can do and hamper our In-Joyment of Life?
In reality, it is when we begin to creatively express and live in ways that are Harmonious with Life and Universal Law that we will find that that which we create enhances our health and thus our capacity to In-Joy the Blessings of Life.
It is in the relearning of Universal Law and what it means to live Harmoniously with Creation and thus with the Father that our real Opportunity awaits to make a real change for the Better.
