On page 54, she states:
Here are some dietary suggestions. A diet high in carbohydrates and low in protein has been found to make parasitic infections worse. When the body is in an alkaline condition the parasitic infection sets in. It is best to keep the diet slightly acidic both as a preventative measure and when treating infection. Food that can help keep the intestines acidic are apple cider vinegar and cranberry juice.
I wanted to share this with you today, because many years ago, Linda and I wrote an essay titled “Food for Contemplation” (which you can read here) in which we presented the possibility that a high carbohydrate intake or content could make one more susceptible to these shades and shadows of darkness. This essay was written based on our own observations, contemplation, and prayer without having read anything beforehand from someone else making such an observation.
The point I want to make with this is that prayer, observation, and contemplation can and may provide information and insights that are right on target even though one may not have any science degree or have access to “scientific research”.
It may be a good idea to learn to Discern and Trust in the answers that are Given in prayer, observation, and contemplation.
